Asheville has been Clary’s home for over 23 years.  After growing
up in Greenville, SC and graduating high school from Christ Church
Episcopal School, she ended up in these beautiful mountains and has never looked back.  She played tennis for UNCA, received a BA in Literature and continued on to Furman University for graduate studies in Exercise Physiology.

 

She began her professional career as a District Manager with Automatic Data Processing. This valuable experience in the corporate world has served her well in the business endeavors that have followed.  She has also helped manage her husband's fiber optic construction company, MC Communications, for the past 11 years, while continuing to raise a daughter and remain active in the community.

Throughout the past 12 years, Clary has developed and invested in
properties of all types ranging from land acquisition and improvement,
rental properties, residential and resort to commercial properties.  She
has personally built several homes in the area, one of which was featured as the cover

of the Holiday 2006 edition of Carolina Home and Garden.  Her

experience working with architects, builders, contractors and local artisans has helped to
develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the challenges and
benefits of building a home, as well as a thorough working knowledge of
finishes, flow and floorplans that is invaluable to her clients.

Clary's love of the outdoors and these beautiful mountains have
kept her in Asheville all of these years and there is nowhere else she
would rather live and raise her family.  You might just see her out on
the trails with her dogs, waterskiing on local lakes or training for
her much-anticipated annual Colorado ski trips.
