As a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and a Licensed General Contractor in North Carolina, I enjoy working with both buyers and sellers to locate, purchase, and/or sell existing homes and new construction projects or developments. I have over 20 years of experience in engineering and design with the local electric utility, Progress Energy.   I previously owned my own construction and real estate company. I am very sensitive to the sustainability of design and living, and continue to serve on boards, commissions, and studies to promote the preservation of our area. I recently served as the Chairperson for the Asheville Buncombe County Historic Resources Commission. I served on this Commission for 8 years. We reviewed and evaluated requests for renovations and new construction in Asheville's and Buncombe County's historic districts and those projects requesting Landmark status. This was a very informative and exciting commission to be involved with.

As the market has gone through an adjustment period, I have sharpened my saw by studying the real estate market and its audience.
