I was born in Spartanburg South Carolina and raised inthe small town of Lyman, SC.  I graduated from James F. Byrnes High School, Anderson Jr. College and the University of South Carolina.

My parents owned a summer cabin in Tuxedo NC and I spent every summer weekend of my youth in Tuxedo.  I swam, canoed and fished in Green River and Lake Summit, and hiked and rode my horse on the nearby mountains. During college I spent my summers as a counselor and riding instructor at Camp Ton-A-Wandah in Hendersonville.

At USC I met and married Bill Kuhns.  We are scholarship donors and members of the Gamecock Club and avid fans of USC Gamecock football, attending most of the games.

I had a successful career at the SC Department of Social Services in Columbia SC. I began as a caseworker and worked my way through the ranks to attain the position as Director of several statewide federally mandated programs.  I was a member of many professional organizations, served on boards and held elected positions nationally and locally.  My
husband Bill was a commercial leasing agent with Edens and Avant and NAI Avant.

Because Bill shares my love of the mountains we relocated to Hendersonville.  Bill is an associate with B-H Commercial, a Division of Beverly-Hanks & Associates in Asheville and I am a residential associate at Beverly-Hanks and Associates in Hendersonville.

Bill and I continue to spend many weekends in Tuxedo.  We enjoy hiking at Carl Sandburg's National Park, driving our convertible on mountain roads and walking and dining in downtown Hendersonville.  I love to buy fresh flowers and other locally grown products at the historic "Curb
Market".

Prior to my retirement in State Government, I had a very satisfying career. In that career, I was committed to helping needy South Carolinians solve their  personal and economic problems.  In my new career, I will bring that same commitment, patience, and strong work ethic to help you meet your buying and selling goals.
