MIKE ROMERO
“Just the Best. In any Language!”
Mike Romero was born in Miami, Florida and then spent his early years from age two to twelve in Venezuela because of his father’s pharmaceutical career. His mother is Cuban, so between his Venezuelan experience and his mother’s various language proficiencies, Mike is fortunate to be bi-lingual.
After school he enjoyed a long and successful career in southern Florida in major hotels/restaurant management where he honed his customer service skills. Combine these skills and his professionalism with his enthusiastic and energetic personality and the result is a lot of buyers and sellers who are very happy with their real estate transactions.
On a visit to Asheville, he coached his youngest brothers’ basketball league at North Carolina State. He not only enjoyed that experience but it would change his life forever; he fell in love with Asheville and he met his future wife.
They now have two children and live the wonderful quality of life that Western North Carolina is famous for. When time allows they take advantage of all of the outdoor activities available in the area and also enjoy golf and a South Carolina beach house.
Wherever he lives Mike gives back to his community. While in FL he was a volunteer with “Big Brother” and he says it was one of the most gratifying experiences ever. True to his giving nature, he gives back to Asheville by being highly active in doing work with his favorite charity, the American Red Cross and is currently serving on the Financial & Planning Committee.
