Randy Moore grew up on a farm in West Texas. As a boy, he learned many long lasting life lessons as he helped work the farm picking cotton and milking cows. Everyone was a team who depended on each other and he learned the value of team work, hard work, honesty and commitment and the gratification of doing a well done job that he could be proud of at the end of the day.

Graduating from Texas Tech University with a BA in Sociology Randy moved to Dallas, Texas. Working in the Dallas World Trade Center, he acclimated from farm boy to the big city and learned there were a lot more people in this world than he realized growing up on the farm. He also realized that in order to succeed you had to work a little harder and be a little bit better than the next guy to succeed in the world.

He learned that lesson well as he excelled at every job he has done; first working for several years as a regional rep for the March of Dimes in Dallas. Randy enjoyed a successful 20 year career in sales and one fine day he discovered a sleepy little town in Florida and relocated there. Time, however, changed this little town with its amazing growth, which taught him the importance of managed growth and how it affects ones quality of life.

Luckily he found a new special place when he relocated to the special mountain oasis of Lake Lure, NC and began his real estate career. He describes Lake Lure as a place that is not only beautiful, but full of honest hard working, special people who want to look after this special area and keep it as natural and clean as possible for future generations.

Life is indeed good as Randy enjoys his home with an apple orchard as his yard and wonderful mountain views with two creeks and surrounded by 600 acres which will be given to a land conservancy.

Randy loves working real estate in the Lake Lure area with people much like himself who have a love of the land. When time allows he enjoys his hobbies of trout fishing and playing golf.
