I have lived in Hendersonville since birth. It is very rare to find someone who has been given such a great gift and has a wonderful home town to raise their own family. I would love to share my experience with you. I come from generations of small business owners that call Hendersonville home. I have traveled all over the world with my husband and I can honestly say “there is no place like home.”
For the past 16 years I have been appraising real estate in Hendersonville, Asheville and all of Western North Carolina. For the past 10 years I have owned my own appraisal company based out of Hendersonville. I have enjoyed my different careers in real estate and all of the different aspects they have offered. Buying a home can be very stressful and complicated. Whether it is your first home or your last, there are many things to think about and be concerned with.
My personal experience has involved acting as my own contractor before I was married and building the home that my family and I live in now. That gave me a lot of knowledge in construction and provided me with the ability negotiate prices, see the difference in quality and work effectively with people. I also have a BSBA in Finance and Insurance from Appalachian State University.
Finding the perfect home is a journey. There are an unlimited amount of home options in this area. Style, size, age, view, location, condition, price and even color. All of things matter. I know that the thought of settling for something on such a big part of your life can be nerve racking. It should also be fun and exciting.
