Stuart is an Asheville native who can trace her mountain roots back to the 18th century. While growing up in Biltmore Forest she remembers riding her horse bareback all over the grounds of the Biltmore Estate.  She was a graduate of St. Genevieve of the Pines Academy in Asheville and then earned a BA in English Literature from Sweet Briar College in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Her adult career life includes elementary teaching positions and then on to Director of the Host Homes Program at Duke University Medical Center, and Administrative Director of the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

Stuart changed career directions when she earned her North Carolina Real Estate license.  She enjoyed a successful career with a major real estate firm in Durham, NC.  During that time she  also earned the professional designation GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute).  

Returning to Asheville, Stuart promptly joined the Beverly-Hanks south office and quickly became a Top Producer in her home town.  She continued her education earning the Certified New Home Specialist professional designation.
Staying active in her community, both professionally and as a volunteer, Stuart is a former member of the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church, a member of the Peaks Society of the United Way and the French Broad River Garden Club.

Besides her three beautiful daughters her life is now enhanced by the birth of her first grandchild.
