Tammy Stanton learned real estate around the family kitchen table. Originally from Atlanta, Ga., her family was very involved in the Atlanta real estate market. Her father founded AFCO Realty, Inc. in 1971, a full service, global commercial realty company, and maintains to this day one of the longest successful track records in the business. Suffice it to say that real estate "comes naturally" for Tammy.

After graduating from The Lovett School, Tammy earned a Bachelor's Degree of Nursing at University of Alabama and moved to Boulder, Co where she met and married her husband. Specializing in cardiac care, she served as a charge nurse, team leader, and was active in many industry related committees.

After eight years, Tammy felt her roots calling her home. Like others before her, Tammy found that Asheville provides the perfect balance of living in the south, close to family, while enjoying the beautiful and active mountain lifestyle.

A career in real estate was always inevitable for Tammy, and she joined Beverly-Hanks in 2004. Her husband, Mike, is a builder in the Asheville area, and they share an interest in healthy built, energy efficient homes.  Again, around the family kitchen table, Tammy learned even more about the construction and components of dwellings.  This knowlege serves her clients exceptionally well.

Tammy is a full time, career realtor with a mission to practice real estate with truthfulness, perseverance, and the latest innovation in a manner that best suits the individual needs of her clients. She specializes in residential real estate sales and the listing and marketing of properties throughout the Asheville area. Tammy believes in ongoing career development and knows that staying current will provide her customers with a seamless and easy transaction. She truly loves her work, and brings much energy and enthusiasm to the process. It is easy to see why Tammy has a loyal client following.

When Tammy is not working, she can be found hiking throughout Western North Carolina, practicing yoga, entertaining friends and family and enjoying all that Asheville offers.
